Job Purpose:
To administer the action plan and liaise with customers and related departments for effective and efficient monitoring, re-habituation and recovery on delinquency, overdue and assigned Retail Collections accounts
Key Accountabilities:
- Achieve the assigned target with regards to collections and recoveries from the allocated accounts.
- Maintain effective collector tele calling and productivity to ensure flows into the next bucket are minimized.
- Ensure timely action on all delinquent accounts, timely field referrals of high risk accounts and escalation of
- such cases to retail collections manager to minimize risk
- Meet customers whenever required and assist them to resolve collections related issues.
- Assist in preparing daily, monthly and yearly reports & MIS as required by management for decision making by providing feedback on profiles and portfolio issues.
- Ensuring adherence to SIB policies, procedures and central bank regulations.
- As a member of Retail Management, contributes to the formulation and implementation of the Retail
- Collections strategy and plans as benefitting the department and business line needs and objectives.
- Ensures all defaulting customers are contacted through follow- up calls or in person, in order to reach an acceptable payment solution, which protects the interests of SIB.
- All the above accountabilities includes but not limited to any additional/new tasks or responsibilities assigned by the line Manager
- Assist the Departments under their responsibility in conducting the OR related activities such as development and monitoring of RCSAs and KRIs, conducting Control Testing, Loss reporting and any Business Continuity Management related activities.
- Provide relevant guidance and training to their respective Departments on the various risk management tools used in SIB guided by the relevant policies and procedures.
- Ensure the adherence by their respective.
- Deal with debt issues and arrears management including Staff dealing with counselling.
- Need to obtain more details and clarification from customer regarding the rescheduled of accounts.
- Coordinate with CRCD and other dept. while performing debt reconciliations.
- Incoming calls from customers are responded according to the query and explain him/her the process and procedures regarding the concerned issue.
Qualifications, Experiences & Technical Skills:
- Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor: Accounting
- Minimum Experience: 5 years of experience in collections banking sector
- Language Skills: Arabic & English (Proficient)
- Computers/ Systems /Software Skills : MS Office - IT Software - Basic
